Tamara originally hails from Dayton, Ohio and is currently performing all over Detroit packing venues such as UDetroit Café, Music Hall Jazz Café, and Prive with her sultry sweet voice, just to name a few.
Barely waiting for the ink to dry Grand Slamm Records already has the ball rolling for Tamara Jewel; she is currently working with the label’s exclusive producers, a vocal coach and artist development team to record her debut album, which is yet to be named. She is also studying for an upcoming lead role in the highly anticipated Detroit stage play “Entangled” written and produced by Don Snipes, Richard A. Bass and directed by Melissa Talbot.
The aspiring young R&B singer/actress not only sings and acts, but she also writes her own music as well. Grand Slamm Records owner Fran Boyd states “Tamara is a gifted R&B vocalist with a highly marketable sound; signing her was a no brainer and we look forward to a bright future with her as one of our artists”. “Lele” New Voice of KRYC Rhythm 105.9fm’s 60 Second Wrap-up
NEW YORK, NY April 10, 2013
Lele, a cartoon character in hip-hop oriented underground hit animated web comedy Chilltown and the star of her own ChilltownTV spin-off web series, Lele’s Ratchet Advice Show, has been tapped to do the 60 Second Wrap-Up, Thursdays at 4pm PST on Yuba City, California hip-hop radio station KRYC Rhythm 105.9fm starting April 11, 2013. This might be the first time a cartoon character has her own radio segment.
Lele, known for her wildly comedic take no prisoners stance towards the worst elements of dating and pop culture in her series, has been gaining heat. She’ll also be gracing the cover of hip-hop magazine HNS later this month. ABCNews/Univision just named Chilltown a “Web Series That Should Be On Your Radar” and Tubefilter called it a “Show to Watch.” The weekly 60 Second Wrap-Up is part of KRYC’s Business Report hosted by Gigi Capone. Lele will tackle gossip and entertainment news in her own unique comedy style, all in 60 seconds.
Both Chilltown, which stars Chappelle’s Show alums Wil Sylvince and Dante Nero, and Lele’s Ratchet Advice Show are the brainchild of writer/self-taught animator Leesa Dean. Dean writes and animates both series for the ChilltownTV YouTube channel. She also voices Lele. “Gigi is a Chilltown fan and we’ve been twitter friends,” Dean said. “When she asked if Lele would do the 60 Second Wrap-Up, I jumped at the chance. I already listen to Gigi’s show and love it. This is gonna be a lot of fun!” Dean will write and voice the weekly segments which will air on dial and stream online at http://www.rhythm1059fm.com.

0 Meet California based R&B Artist Rey T
Reynard Thomas (a.k.a. Rey T.) was born in Oakland, CA
and started singing at the age of just Six (6) years old, but it wasn’t until he was Sixteen (16) that he started singing professionally with his group ” The Nine Lives “. They won every talent contest they entered; singing at school functions, dances, sock-hops, Jr. and Sr. proms. They were so busy singing at other functions, that they completely missed their own, but that was okay as they were on their way to becoming one of the hottest groups in the Bay Area. It wasn’t long before The Nine Lives was touring and performing their first recording ” It’s a Grand Day” and “Just For Fun ” written by their manager Steve Rein.
The Nine Lives would spend Rey T’s teen years traveling around the world singing and dancing and honing his talent. Rey T. didn’t stop there. Big things are in store for this chart topping group with a range that allows him to sing any and all genres.
